Medical Provider Burnout
and the Leading Causes
This is website is devoted to my research of Medical Provider Burnout and the Leading Causes. Medical provider burnout is a serious and growing problem in the United States. It occurs when the provider is completely drained of their resources, whether it is physical or emotional. The origins of medical burnout can originate from the workload, especially excessive charting/clerical work, and/or workplace environment, as well as circumstances in the provider’s personal life.
Wernher von Braun once said, "Research is what I am doing, when I don't know what I am doing." In the beginning of the semester, I was researching different parts of Medical Provider Burnout. I didn't have a clear plan of what I was doing. However, as I progressed further in this project, I began to become engrossed in this topic, realizing the importance and direct impact on society. I began to primary and secondary research and I attempted to make this project educational and interesting. Eventually, I created a paper and presentation that summarized my end findings. These can both be found in the website.

I learned a great deal of information. I discovered a love of education and research. I am excited for what the future can bring.
